Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Day 1 - Pickup and transfer to Hotel. Later half day city tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Boudanath stupa. In Kathmandu.
Meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the hotel, after quick check in and refreshment begin the tour of Pasupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa, two world heritage sites in Kathmandu city out of seven. Pashupatinath is situated five kilometers east of Kathmandu and it is the temple of lord Shiva-Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors which is famous for its superb architecture.The stupa of Boudhanath lies 8kms east of Kathmandu. This ancient colossal stupa is one of the biggest in the world and the center of Buddhism in the world. It was listed in the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979. Boudhanath Stupa is also known as the Little Tibet in Kathmandu as more than 50 thousand Tibetan refugees took refuge in Boudhanath when the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1949 happened. This is a spiritual place with the two eyes of Buddha conveying the message of peace. You will visit Thanka painting galleries around the area to better understand the concept of Tibetan Buddhism and its practices .
Day 02: Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu

After breakfast visit Kahmandu Durbar Square which was the historic seat of Shah Dynasty. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. It is here that Kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnized. Interesting things to seek here are; Taleju Temple built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 A.D., Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction, Nautalle Durbar, Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the Big Bell, Drum and the Jagannath Temple. Next is the tour of Swoyambhunath Stupa, a top the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Bhaktapur -This city is still on the fringe of medieval age. Known as Bhadgaon, it is famous for making mask. Their mask dance is very impressive. Square around the palace (Durbar Square) has many temples built in pagoda style. Famous are a five storied Nyatapola temple built in 1708 AD and Dattatrya temple built in 1427 AD. The intricately carved peacock window and numerous fountains inside the palace are other attraction. After Bhaktapur travel to Dhulikhel - Dhulikhel is situated at 1550 m from sea level and is famous for the sunset and sunrise view. It is 27 km from Kathmandu city and is a one night destination for hikers and trekkers as well as people who love to see mountains from distance, from the hotel room. You can see the Langtang Lirung, Annapurna 2nd, Ganesh Himal range and also Everest on a very clear day.

After the sunrise and Mountain View at Dhulikhel drive back to Kathmandu with a quick visit of Patan Durbar Square. Patan Durbar Square, most prominent place to see is Krishna Mandir which was built in the seventeenth century. This temple holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan. It is supposed to be the first specimen of Shikara style architecture in Nepal. It is the only temple in Nepal having 21 spires and is completely made of stone. Golden Temple and Durbar Square are some important places to see in Patan. After Patan, you are on your own.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until departure for shopping, etc. We bid you farewell with the hope of seeing you again in Nepal for your next vacation.
