The center consists of ACC Culture Exchange, ACC Children, ACC Archive & Research, ACC Theater, and other facilities to support and foster innovation.
2. Dongmyeong-dong Café Street
Dongmyeong-dong was originally home to the city's well-to-do but, then, many moved out as the apartment became the way of life for many Koreans. For a while the area was lifeless, and later it was filled with academic institutions, followed by cafés for moms who were busy with their children's education. To attract more customers, cafés began to differentiate their exterior and interior designs as well as the flavors of various drinks.
The opening of the Asia Culture Center in 2015 furthered the younger generation's interest in the café industry, making the street more unique and interesting.
3. Yangdong Market started in the 1910s as a traditional market held on dates ending in 2 and 7 of every month on the white sand beach under Gwangjugyo Bridge. The market has a long history and local citizens have many sayings referring to the multitude of items available here. During the May 18th Democratic Uprising, both Yangdong and Daein Markets were a grand venue where the citizens of Gwangju gathered together to rally for democratization of the nation. Merchants of the markets provided food, beverages, and medicine to the protestors and participated in the movement alongside their fellow citizens. Yangdong Market is an outstanding traditional market among all markets throughout the nation. The market has upgraded with the times to include modern conveniences, including a consolidated market logo, online shopping mall, and merchant education classes.

In addition, the nearby 30,000 ㎡ field of canola flowers in full bloom in May creates a beautiful yellow "wave" of color. Although there are restaurants within the garden, bringing in food is allowed, making the garden a great location for a picnic in the shade of the trees. After exploring the garden, visitors can hop on the unmanned shuttle train (PRT) and ride to Suncheon Literature Center, and then transfer to the Reed Trolley to pass the 1.2-kilometer stretch of reeds to Mujingyo Bridge.
